Privacy Policy

When you use Doorline, we collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and payment information when you subscribe to a paid plan. We also collect the addresses you analyze, the assumptions you enter, and standard server logs (IP, user agent, request metadata).

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve Doorline
• Process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
• Send transactional emails (account verification, password resets, analysis results, billing notifications)
• Monitor and prevent abuse of the platform
• Track API usage for metering and billing accuracy

Properties you analyze, saved searches, reports, and chat conversations are stored in our database scoped to your account. We do not share or sell this data. When you delete an analysis, property, or your entire account, the associated records are removed. Residual backups are rotated out within 30 days.

Messages you send through the AI chat are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. We store conversation history to provide continuity within your account. We do not use your messages for training, advertising, or analytics. Anthropic's own data handling is governed by their commercial terms.

Doorline aggregates data from third-party providers. When you run an analysis, the address you enter is sent to these providers to retrieve property information:

• Rentcast — rental estimates, comps, property attributes, market data
• ATTOM Data Solutions — tax, assessment, and sale history (when configured)
• Mapbox — geocoding and maps
• Freddie Mac PMMS — public weekly mortgage rate data
• HUD User API — public Fair Market Rent data. This product uses the HUD User API but is not endorsed or certified by HUD.
• Realtor.com (via RapidAPI) — active listing data and photography

We cache responses server-side to minimize repeat requests and reduce your personally-identifiable footprint with those providers.

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your theme preference. We do not use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

Account data is retained until you delete your account. API usage records are retained for 24 months for billing and compliance. Email logs are retained for 90 days.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

Doorline is not directed to anyone under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We'll post any material changes to this policy on this page and update the “last updated” date. If the changes are significant we'll also notify you by email.
